Hunt for a new face

Suhani of Swarg-Mata Pita Ki Charnon Mein has just been kidnapped and killed. But her story doesn’t end there. She will be back from the dead, albeit with a different face. We have seen this plot in umpteen serials before but it works. Only the makers are yet to zero in on the new face, for the present Suhani is played by Archana Taide. Apparently, Divyanka Tripathi and Kshiti Jog were in the running for the role but Divyanka, who was last seen as the illiterate bahu in Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan, wants to make a comeback with a fresh show. Even with Kshiti, things haven’t worked out and producer Rajan Shahi is still on the lookout for an actress to play the new Suhani.
