Akshay Kumar's scion is up to action of another kind! No scuba diving/ pole vaulting/ bungee jumping/ whatever. Aarav Bhatia, all of seven years, earned an 'Extraordinary Contribution by a Child' award at New Delhi, presented to him for reducing global warming at the Green Globe Foundation awards.
Inspired by a telly programme 'Greenathon' (2009), Aarav asked his dad to adopt a village without electricity and supply it with solar lanterns. The beneficiary was Bhuriba Wasky Dhani village and Aarav used to check all the items personally before it was packed off to the village.
Hiding behind his gorgeous grandmom Dimple Kapadia, the expressly shy Aarav tried to dodge the spotlight even as lensmen turned clicked crazy. Meanwhile, dad Akshay and mom Twinkle, away in Germany, can barely hide their pride…
