A three-day digital film festival, featuring documentaries shot by students of government schools, will begin on February 23 in Kochi. The programme, organised as part of the IT@school project and the Ernakulam District Panchayat, will be inaugurated by Kochi Mayor Mercy Williams at the Regional Resource Centre, Edapally. Training sessions on various aspects of cinema, including script writing, acting, editing and background score will be held as part of the festival for students. Screening of films and discussions on various aspects related to cinema will also be held. Transport Minister Jose Thettayil will inaugurate the valedictory session on February 25 at Changanpuzha park at 4 p.m.
